What
do Diamonds
and e-Learning Have in Common?
The 4 C's...
When
I bought a diamond ring ten years ago I learned that you
could judge a diamond with the 4 C's for color, clarity,
cut and carat weight. The Economist Intelligence Unit judges
60 different countries also using the 4 C's: Connectivity,
Capability, Content and Culture.
Top
five countries are Sweden, Canada, USA, Finland and South
Korea. The bottom five are:

57. Vietnam
58. Pakistan
59. Iran
60. Nigeria
I think
it's interesting that I've received personal e-mails regarding
e-learning from people in every one of these "bottom"
five countries.
Would

e-Learning Example: Winged Sandals
This
website teaches Greek mythology to xxx and won an award
at the 2004 Flash Film festival. Things I like:
- Visual
design and music captures attention sets mood
- Animated
Hermes narrator provides some fun and humor (try to tickle
him) and personifies the navigation
- Good
didactic approach with stories
- Games
and activities offer active-learning approach and reinforcement
