Interview with Travis Bradberry, Ph.D.
Developing Emotional Intelligence
with E-Learning
I
interview Travis Bradberry, President of TalentSmart, on
his work democratizing emotional intelligence and using
assesments to foster learning. We explore:
- his
surprising findings that, as a group, CEOs have lower
emotional intelligence levels than middle management leaders
- how
e-learning as an add-on to classroom training improved
performance outcomes 3-fold
- how
traditionally published and sold books may serve as an
effective Trojan Horse for e-learning

Child Left Offline (in Kentucky)
Ive
long been concerned about the digital divide and a proponent
of 1-to-1 computing in public schools. This is an interesting
initiative in Kentucky... Governor Ernie Fletcher introduced
No
Child Left Offline, an innovative project to help all
Kentucky households join the Information Age. Surplus government
computers will be refurbished and distributed to children
who lack computers at home.
Know
anybody interested in emotional intelligence? Maybe you
have Democrat friends that want to rewrite history (or Republican
friends who want to beat him again)? Send them this newsletter,
they'll thank you for it.
